The Challenge
Shimmer Research is a world-leading company in wearable sensing technology. Their products were highly respected within technical and academic circles, but as the business grew globally, a new challenge emerged.
In a competitive sensing market, being technically excellent was no longer enough. Shimmer needed to clearly communicate its value to global enterprises, research institutions, and partners across multiple industries.
Their brand and marketing materials did not yet reflect the scale, maturity, or leadership position of the business. Messaging was fragmented, visual systems were inconsistent, and product branding lacked a clear structure.
To support continued growth, Shimmer needed a unified brand system that could be used confidently across every touchpoint.
The Focus
This project focused on strengthening The Message – how Shimmer presents itself, explains its products, and shows up across sales, marketing, and product environments.
The goal was to build a brand platform that:

The Outcome

Most importantly, the brand system was built to scale – allowing Shimmer to extend, adapt, and grow without needing to reinvent its message each time.
